The Old Château in Jevišovice was built up by Sezema of Kunštát in 1423 – 1426 and was kept by this family until 1587. In this year the family died out in male tail and the chateau fell upon the princes of Minsterberk. New Château

The New Château is a mixture of a few architectural styles. It is framed by a spacious English park with a collection of 22 Baroque statues depicting antique heros. The new château was built by Raduit de Souches in the precinct of the then hunting park. It was the owner Karlov Locatelli thanks to whom the château has its today´s image. He had an original wooden hunting manor rebuilt into Neogothic, Windsor style.

Old Castle

The original residence of Jevišovice lords was most probably built up in 1277 by Boček of Jevišovice, the Moravian aristocrat from the family of Kunštát. The Old Castle was erected in the locality of a prehistoric settlement which showed to be a rich archaeological excavation later. Today we can find only a few stones here. However, from the place where the Old Castel used to stand there is one of the most gorgeous views of the Old Château on the opposite river bank.

Bicycle Museum Boskovštejn

The Bicycle Museum maps the development of bicycles from the morning. It was in 1817 in Paris when Charles Baron von Drais de Sauerbun introduced the first bicycle with a dirigible front wheel. Jevišovice Dam

The Jevišovice Dam is the oldest stone dam in Moravia and at the same time it counts among the oldest stone dams in Europe. The dam is of a gravitational type and its foundations are fastened deep in the rock. The damming of the dam is located at about 350 meters  away from the town centre. The dam was constructed in 1894 – 1897 and it was designated as a Cultural Monument in 1987. The dam is suitable for swimming and cruises on punts but for fishing too. Rudlice hills

The Nature Monument the Rudlice hills is an elevated plateau with a gorgeous view of the surroundings. Thanks to local grassy vegetations with an occurence of solitary trees and accidental bunches of bushes you will be transferred to the steppe which is inhabited by protected species of animals as the common (viviparous) lizard, the wild quail or the red-backed shrike.
